- Paint the inside of your shells first and let dry for about 20 min. (Use a hair dryer to speed things up!)
- Flip the shells over and paint the outside.
- Choose 5 large shells, 5 medium shells and 8 small shells for each flower.
- Hot glue the large shells in a circle onto a piece of driftwood, large seashell or other flat surface.
- Glue the medium shells on top of the large, offsetting the edges.
- Glue the smallest on top of the medium, offsetting again.
- Glue the last three small shells in the center.
Wasn’t that easy? And you have no idea how difficult it was for me to make them only in red. I’d love a rainbow of pastel flowers! Even white would be pretty.
Thanks again, Delia, for having me over! And thanks to all of you lovely readers. Have a wonderful day!! :O)

I love these so much Disney!
I love how this can be adapted to a kid craft that I would want to keep up as permanent decor!
We have a trip to the beach planned later this summer. I can’t wait to collect shells and do this.
And head over to Kojodesigns after that to check out what delicious blue fun is happening over there!

Such a great idea! I'm always trying to find fun ways to display the ever-growing "collection" of shells my girls love to bring home from the beach. Disney, you rock! xx

you are so clever Disney! What a cool way to use shells. And I love the photos (and the pretty pic with "red red red red red" written on the bottom.) You never disappoint!
