I mostly hate moving.
One silver lining came in the form of me finding this cardigan I made for the Kid Clothing Swap. I originally made it for Em, but ended up not using it because it didn’t go with the other pieces I had already made. I spent a lot of time trying to get all the stripes to match up, and got so frustrated that it ended up not coordinating like I had imagined that I threw in my scrap bin…I was having a moment. :)As I was packing, I weeded through my fabric stash and found it again. Turns out, it looks great on Reid! I’m sooo glad I didn’t completely throw it out in my moment of sewing insanity.

That cardigan is VERY cute on Reid! So glad it was saved from the scrap pile. It’ll be fun to see a similar one on Natalie sometime 😉

You know I love this 🙂 Stripey cardis are my fave, and that orange button is a little bit of genius! I’m in awe that you matched up the stripes on the sleeves too. Extra credit for you! I’m glad you resurrected it from the WIP pile for your cute little guy! (sadly, my WIP pile is where projects go to die and never be heard from again 🙁 ) I would fully support some teeny tiny cardis for N!!

ps: i just saved an ungodly amount of money using your 10% off code. Thanks for that! now I better get sewing to clear off some space for my new fabric!

Everyone begs me to make their kids a cardigan when they see my kids wearing the ones I’ve made from that pattern. I think I’ll have to go order some more knit!
Delia says
Yes you must Celeste! 🙂 peer pressure… 🙂
Susan (Crafterhours) yes but my button was a little off. You win some and lose some. ha! 🙂 Yay for more knit. I am anxious to get my order.:)) (double chin smile I’m so excited)

haha, that crafterhours was me, Adrianna 🙂 Just didn’t want you to think I didn’t comment on this amazingness! I should really remember to sign my name, esp since I think our google account says Susan…
Oh, and I gazed lovingly at these photos for a long time and NEVER noticed that button until you mentioned it. nobody else will either 🙂

The stripes look GREAT! I think we’re always the hardest on ourselves when it comes to sewing, aren’t we? Love Reid’s green pants too :).
