I am sure like many of you my craft “want to do” list is miles long. When I read more craft blogs it just gets longer! Ah!
So I don’t get overwhelmed I have tried to only bookmark the projects I really, really, really like. And here are some of the ones I have bookmarked:
First, congrats to Cheri for winning SYTYC! She is a phenomenal crafter. Since she posted this hat project tutorial I have been wanting to make some for my boys. So perfect right now for Fall. I am a bit nervous about making one because I am worried if it will turn out, but that is half the fun!
Next, do you know Becky Higgins? That girl has style oozing from every pore. Everything she does has major class. She posted this really simple project for Fall/Halloween on another cool blog eighteen25. I am SO doing this. I actually have some paper mache pumpkins that I have been hanging onto but didn’t know what to do with. Now I know! I am going to do it with stuff I already have that has probably been thrifted, and maybe tweak everything so I don’t have to buy anything :)…but I am definitely inspired!
I have been looking for warm scarves and winter accessories to make. In my search I found this really cool scarf from Anthropologie. So I don’t love the colors but I really like the shape of it. It is called the Two-Tone Eternity Scarf. What I love about it is that it kind of turns into a shawl so it can be thrown on around your shoulders when things turn a bit brisk in the Fall. You know those days when it isn’t cold enough for a full jacket but just a little nippy? Love it. So…it looks as if this was completely weaved into one piece which is probably why it costs a pretty penny. I don’t think I will be able to replicate that but I have something else in mind. If it turns out :)…I’ll post a tute.
Char at Crap I’ve Made is a really cool mom and crafter. She recently posted about this high-waisted skirt. It is fairly simple to make {or at least it looks that way} yet is really pretty. Since I saw it, it has been on my mind whenever I go to the fabric store. I don’t know if I will get around to making it soon but it is definitely on my bucket list craft list…someday… hopefully sooner than later.
And lastly, a Halloween craft. I am not sure where I stashed all my grandmother’s doilies but I think this would be so pretty to hang for Halloween! Easy too. I think she crocheted her spider to the doily but you could also just as easily make a pipe cleaner spider and attach it or attach a fake plastic one. Lipstick and Laundry posted about these here. If you don’t want to make one she also sells them in her etsy shop.
So, I admit that my bookmark list is WAY longer than this, but these are the projects I have been thinking about the most lately. Thank you ladies for all the wonderful inspiration!

I know it's not quite the same, but I had found a "Mobius" shawl on Etsy made with the same idea as the Anthro scarf. Here's a link to it http://www.etsy.com/listing/31473874/mobius-shawl-in-browns The price is awesome for something handmade. I was going to convo her to see if I could get a solid black one. Have a great evening!
