Color Your Summer 3 starts tomorrow! Wahoo! I can. not. wait.
I have been sewing and crafting like a mad woman and I can’t wait to finally show it all to you! I am super excited to see what my guests have in store for you as well. It’s going to be awesome. 🙂
I have a couple of reminders for you…
INSTAGRAM: If you are on Instagram, please join the party! Tag #coloryoursummer on your summery colorful pics and you could win an awesome prize package worth $100. Kojo and I will be sharing our favorite pics from time to time on our blogs as well.
FLICKR: Don’t forget to share your Color Your Summer projects with us! The Color Your Summer Flickr pool is open for all past and present projects using any Color Your Summer tutorial. If you made something a couple of years ago, it’s a go! Just upload a picture of it into the Flickr pool and you could win an awesome prize package valued at over $90. Oh, and it’s a giveaway, not a contest.
There are more details and links for both giveaways in this post HERE.
Another big thank you to all of our sponsors who are making the prize packages possible!
More updates, not Color Your Summer related…
– I know that I promised a tutorial for the bloomers I shared with Natalie’s Roly Poly HERE. But, as
I was preparing a 12 month pattern and tutorial, I discovered thatSewing Mama RaeAnna has already done all the work! She has a FREE pattern that actually covers sizes newborn to 24 months. Yay! So, I won’t be sharing my tutorial because RaeAnna has already done such a great job! Go HERE to get it. 🙂
Â
– Speaking of patterns. At this time, I will not be creating a pattern like THIS  one I made for Em. I may decide to do it sometime next year, but am not sure yet. One reason is I have another exciting dress pattern venture in the works. More information will be coming in the next month or so.
Â
– That dang pencil skirt pattern that I have pushed back a million times will be shared this Fall. Get it? Fall, Back to School, Pencil…skirt. 😉 That’s my goal any way. And please be warned. I am sharing it as a free pattern for one size 4/6. Most of you have no idea what I’m talking about, but I have gotten a few curious emails so I thought I would address those questions here if you were curious too! 🙂
Â
Alright…I think that’s it! An awfully wordy post for my taste, but a lot of good business I’ve been meaning to share with you.Â
Â
Have a great rest of the weekend. See you tomorrow!
