We’ve finally been getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit around here.
We kicked off our weekend with some personal pan sized heart shaped pizzas for our traditional pizza and a movie night we hold each Friday. Nothing says “I love you” like artichoke hearts on your pizza in this house.
For my favorite pizza dough recipe go here.
We also did some decorating. We cut out a million paper hearts…
and heart attacked our windows and the inside of our door with them.
I really didn’t feel like digging out our Valentine’s Day wreath to put up for just a few days, so this was a fun alternative. Kid craft project and decor in one. Check!
We got our Valentines ready too. I broke down and got some store bought ones. I admit, the spy decoder ones we got for Owen are pretty awesome.
We also made some Valentines for the grandparents. I found the idea on pinterest here.
For the actual holiday we’re going to keep things pretty simple and go see a movie on a school night! Should be fun and low key for pregnant tired me.
And now…I have some winners to announce.

Looks like fun! I love the hearts around the house idea. I asked my kids if they wanted me to make heart shaped pizza and they rolled their eyes. 🙁 Maybe I'll do it anyway. 🙂
