…to wear around my wrist.
My Mom’s birthday is coming up so I made us matching wrist pin cushions. My mom got the denim one and I got the gray one.
I love using mine already. It is really nice to be able to have my pins readily accessible wherever I wander. It also makes me feel pretty while sewing. Like I have a corsage on my hand.
Because I made a matching one for my mom it is fun to think that she might be using hers at the same time too. 🙂
Tea Rose Home originally shared this project on Ruffles and Stuff but also shares her tutorial here.
I used denim and felt for the strap so I didn’t use fusible interfacing. I also made the Velcro longer so that it would be adjustable.

What a FUN idea! I'd never heard of wrist pin cushions until now… genius!

I've seen some cute wrist pincushions before, but these are so pretty! Like the velcro idea–seems more comfortable than elastic.

It's adorable! I have been meaning to make myself a wrist pin cushion for a while. Thanks for reminding me 🙂

Those are cute and if having a birthday "coming up" is the requirement for having you make one for me then I totally fit the bill. You got one week girl! (o:
They really are cute!
