Cheri is one of my favorite bloggers. She not only has clever projects that make sewing seem less fussy and intimidating and more doable and fun, but she also takes time to focus on the other more important things in life with her Wake up Wednesday challenges.Â
She’s gorgeous, she’s a great mom, and she was just on the Martha Stewart show yesterday! Way to go Cheri!
Today, she has yet another clever sewing project for us that I can’t wait to make myself.

Hey guys! Â I’m Cheri from I Am Momma Hear Me Roar. Â I am excited to be a part of this nesting series because I’ve wanted to share this mother/baby idea for a while. Â I adapted it from something I saw at a boutique. Â It’s practical and really easy to make.

See what I mean? So fun, doable, and definitely just got added to my sewing to do list.
I like how easy this would be to stow away into the diaper bag.
Thanks for nesting with me Cheri!

Love this! I’ve made something similar that I have since adapted into a clip for turning any restaurant napkin into a bib. That way you don’t have to stow a dirty bib in your bag!

Friggin BRILLIANT!! I HATE nursing covers, because they're so dang hot (we live in the tropics). This solves all my problems. Hooray!! Thanks sooooo much!

Where can I find the curtain rings and what size are they? I am actually in Utah right now and looked at Hobby Lobby. Love this for a baby shower gift!
Delia says
Good questions Lauri!
I haven’t found the curtain rings myself, but I would definitely ask your local Hobby Lobby. This post is a couple years old, so their inventory may or may not have changed. If you can’t find them, suspender clips work really great too (I’ve used them). You can pick them up at Jo-Ann or I think Hobby Lobby as well. 😉
