Hello, Hello…Happy Monday!
I have a real treat for you today.
Sandra from Sawdust and Paper Scraps!
I feel a little star struck having her as my guest. 🙂
She is genuine to the core, super duper nice.
And not only does she have you cracking up and smiling through most of her posts, but she is insanely talented.
And not only does she have you cracking up and smiling through most of her posts, but she is insanely talented.
To say she is handy with tools is an understatement.
She built this craft room,
This playroom for her daughter,
and this built in entertainment center for her basement.
And that’s not even the half of it.
She teaches us practical things like How to Repair a Hinge Hole:
Just check out her How To section to get a whole list of great tips and tutorials.
I know that one day when we become home owners, I am going to be LIVING at her blog. Scouring every tutorial to learn how build my own cabinet doors…and stuff.
Sandra is also a really great mom. She and her 12 year old daughter worked on this Castle Doll Bed together.
Isn’t this so fun?
And did you know she sews?! She is amazing.
Today she is going to share another sewing project with us.
Are you as excited as I am?
Are you as excited as I am?
Here’s Sandra.
Hi all!
I’m so happy Delia asked to participate in this “Color your Summer” series!
For one, I just love Delia! She’s so stinkin’ creative and talented so of course I wanted to play along!
Second, I have been in such a creative funk lately and this is the first project I’ve actually started or completed in the past couple months! Thank goodness for deadlines or I might still be laying on the couch eating bonbons and watching reruns of Income Property.
Anyway… I chose white because it is my favorite color. Or conglomeration of all colors. Or is it the absence of color? Whatever, you get the idea.
I usually spend more time with the table saw than the sewing machine, but when the need arises, I do my best. I had the NEED, so I made a pair of White, Ruffled, Reusable, Grocery Bags. Say that 5 times fast!
Then come on over and I’ll show you how to make them too.
🙂 Sandra
Love it!
I think those are the prettiest reusable totes I have ever seen.
And I love how roomy they are!
It pairs perfectly with my easy knit produce bag too. 🙂
Head over to Sawdust and Paper Scraps for the full tutorial.
And be sure to stop by Kojodesigns for this great project:
