What we wore Sunday…
Because what we wear on Wednesday isn’t usually exciting.
Shirt: DownEast
Cardigan: DYI
Skirt: so old I can’t remember ๐
Belt: Kohl’s
Shoes you can’t see- a nude wedge from Payless
The cardigan was actually one of my favorite sweaters that I decided to upcycle this last week. Don’t ask me why I decided to slice it up. Even as I did it, I cringed. But I am so glad I did! I love it even more now!
No sweater will ever be safe in my clutches again.ย I think I might be addicted to cardigans. ๐ See my cardigan conversion tutorialย for the how-to.
For Natalie, I didn’t make us match…but we coordinated. Pretty neutrals all around.
My dear visiting teacher got this lovely dress for Natalie. I think it’s from Old Navy. I love, love it. It goes so well with the leggings I made for her during my nesting series.
The pin-tucks on the back look as pretty as I imagined they would.
One thing I didn’t imagine is how beautiful this girl would be.
How can you not smile after looking at her sweet face?
You can’t help it I tell you. ๐
She was so good and got to wear her dress all day because she didn’t spit up on it. Miracle.
I on the other hand only wore mine for an hour because I fell ill about an hour into church.
But that’s not why I’m not smiling. Reid was playfully shoving Owen while he used my dslr. It made it difficult to smile…you can imagine. Sigh. Boys. ๐
We might not have cardigan weather again for a while so I had Owen snap a few pictures of it before I retire it to the back of my closet. Then I slipped into pajamas and laid down for a not so restful nap.
I’m better now. Thank goodness. Just in time for my husband to come home this weekend. Can’t wait!
Have a good Wednesday.

I’ve looked at your blog now and thing you are awesome. That cardigan is so cute with the buttons. Amazingly, I have that same skirt! I got it from Target about 5-6 years ago and still wear it! Keep up the posting, you are a wonder!
