I have been meaning to do a post like this for a while. I love getting emails from you telling me that you’ve tried one of my tutorials. It really makes my day.
I regret to say though that I haven’t been consistent in filing the emails away and saving them. So if you’ve sent an email to me {or haven’t yet and want to} and don’t see your project here please email me again. I would love to post it!
Alright, let’s get started…
Kris from Everywhere Orange made an adorable faker bow tie for her dog! What a cute idea!
Jenni-lyn from Quilting-Mural-Making Mom Me made some Strappy Flip Flops using bias tape casing. A good alternative to getting colorful elastic without the mess of trying to dye it.
The Knapp Family made a cool Scripture Cover with this pretty yellow floral fabric.
I know I’ve gotten quite a few emails for this project and just didn’t think to file them away. Please send them again. I would love to showcase your scripture covers!
The Easy Knit Produce Bags have been quite a popular project.
Lisa from That’s Life Kid! made some with a girly twist. Love the cute little scrap knit rosettes.
Debbie from On the Refrigerator Door made this classy gray one too.
And Steffie from Steffies Hexenhaus made this pretty in pink tote-able version.
Niki from Coastal Sling Mommy threw a fantastic Lego Birthday Party for her son. She used my Lego Pull Pinata tutorial but used juice lids for the Lego bumps. Great idea!
And I really like her goodie bags. So simple, creative, and admittedly a lot less work than my favor boxes. 🙂
Niki did a really great job. Check out her post for other great game ideas as well.
Another popular project is the Distressed Photo Canvases.
I know that I’ve missed saving quite a few emails from you guys for this project.
Kim from Life Happens made some stunning 8×10 canvases to complement her professionally wrapped one.
So elegant.
Kaylyn Little made a collage of them on their wall. I like that she made an newborn one and a baby one of each of her daughters. I think it would be neat to have one for each year!
She also made an adorable I Spy Book for her daughter. I love the map pictures she included so her daughter can put stickers on it to track their progress during their summer travels.
Isn’t the I Spy Me page genius! I am going to have to add that one to Reid’s book.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful projects with me.
Have a super fantastic weekend!

You have so many great ideas. I'm actually in the middle of making an I Spy book for the children of a friend… I'll have to email you when it's done 🙂

Thanks Delia for my little feature! The map was her favorite page. They are just clip art from word with Stars put about where the stops would be, very helpful for the three year old.
